Every visual element on this site is a declared slot in a register, with its subject, dimensions, rights state and alternative text recorded before anything is placed in it. This page publishes that register.
This site uses no third-party photography
All 8 declared slots currently render the site’s own document-based treatment. None of them holds a photograph, a video frame or an illustration sourced from anyone else, and none requires third-party rights. There is, at present, nothing external to credit.
That is a design decision, not a gap waiting to be filled. The record is built from typography, official-document excerpts, regulation text, source cards, timelines, maps, pitch geometry and data visualisations — material drawn from the record itself. A page built this way stays readable, and stays honest, without depending on an image of an event nobody photographed.
Where a slot’s treatment renders a document excerpt or a regulation, that is a finished editorial presentation and may remain the site’s final state indefinitely. It is not a placeholder. Nothing on this site renders a grey box, dummy text or a “coming soon” panel.

All 8 slots, with what each is for, what it currently renders and its rights state. Slots are declared before any asset exists for them, so the register describes the site’s visual system whether or not media is ever delivered into it.

Alternative text
Every slot that carries meaning declares its alternative text in the register, so the text is written as part of the editorial decision rather than added afterwards. Slots that are purely decorative are marked as such and are hidden from assistive technology entirely, rather than being given a description that would interrupt reading without adding anything.
Where a visual carries information — a relationship map, a financial-flow diagram, a pitch plan — the same information is also available as a list or table. No fact on this site is reachable only by looking at a picture.
Where the material comes from
The document excerpts, regulation text and source cards rendered in these slots are drawn from records in the source library, where each carries its own provenance, access state and link. Text quoted from a source is quoted in excerpt and attributed there.
